On Monday, Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya launched a program titled "School Education Haryana's Health and Treatment" in honor of Teachers' Day (SEHAT). Health examinations of 25 lakh schoolchildren would be conducted twice a year under this Sehat Scheme in Haryana, an official said. The unveiling took place in Panchkula at a state-level gathering that was hosted by the School Education Department. The Governor recognized 93 educators for their exceptional work during the same ceremony.

The "School Education Haryana's Health and Treatment" (SEHAT) project, which was developed under the "Ayushman Bharat" plan, will be put into effect during the upcoming academic year, he claimed. Children who are healthy and educated are what he called the country's future.

According to him, the information obtained during the student medical tests will be put onto the state's e-Upchar portal and would be available from any place.

Former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is observed as Teachers' Day, was hailed by Dattatreya as "the outstanding diplomat, scholar, and an excellent teacher who performed a fantastic job for the all-round development of students," according to Dattatreya. In honor of Dr. Radhakrishnan, who was given the Bharat Ratna, this was spoken.

Governor Bandaru Dattatreya recently unveiled the School Education Haryana's Health and Treatment (SEHAT) initiative for the state's school-aged children. According to an official release, the initiative would allegedly include health screenings for 25 lakh pupils twice a year.

The event's planning and selection of the launch location were within the purview of the Panchkula School Education Department. The "Ayushman Bharat" initiative launched the idea, and the 2023–2024 school year is when it is expected to start being implemented. The program was started with the intention of achieving Dattatreya's belief that educated, healthy children are the nation's future.

Additionally, Dattatreya stated that the state's e-Upchar site will be updated with the data obtained during the students' medical checkups. Additionally, one may obtain this information from whatever location they want.

According to the governor of the state, 8,876 educators have received training to become project ambassadors for health and wellbeing. The governor hoped that educators, whom he referred to as the "architects of society" and who are crucial to the process of constructing a nation, would also play an important role in the SEHAT project's execution. The Governor praised Ramaiah Garu, his physics instructor, and the late Sheshacharya, his Telugu teacher, saying how their guidance helped him not just in his personal life but also in his political career. Kanwar Pal, the minister of education, claims that the state government has taken a number of steps to raise the standard of education in general.

Additionally, as part of a ceremony held at the state level and organized by the School Education Department to recognize outstanding contributions to the area of education, Dattatreya gave awards of gratitude to 93 educators in Panchkula.

When asked to reflect on his time as a student, Dattatreya recalled how two of his professors, Ramaiah, who taught him physics, and Sheshacharya, who taught him Telugu, had played a significant role in guiding him via the use of their words. Their desire and ideas had a big effect on Dattatreya's personal development and the road to politics, he claimed. He exhorted educators to instill morality and ethics in their students.
